How to Produce Porous Metal Filters ?
Sieving the Metal Powder
Sieving the metal powder ensures a stable particle size distribution; adding forming binders if necessary.
Filling and Compaction
Filling the metal powder in the mold, control the density, and then form the porous metal filter element blank with cold pressing.
Vacuum Sintering
Sintered at high temperature in a vacuum sintering furnace. If adhesives are used, degreasing is required.
Filter Element Machining
The metal powder filter after sintering need to be turing, cutting or facing, to ensure the flatness meets the installation requirements.
